Sun institute of pharmaceutical education and research was established in year 2008 under the aegis of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Educational Society, Nellore founded by an academician and pharmacy professional to impart value-based professional education.
SIPER started in the year 2009 with Bachelor of pharmacy course and has attained stupendous growth presently offering M.Pharmacy with 3 specializations ( Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Regulatory Affairs), Pharm.D, Pharm.D Post Baccularate, and Diploma in Pharmacy courses.
The college is located on krishnapatnam port main road which is 9km away from Nellore.

Dr.A Dinakar is a Ratified Principal of Sun Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research fron JNTU Anantapur he is having 30 years of teaching experience. He earned his bachelor’s (1985) and post graduation (1987) in pharmacy from Andhra University, (AU College of Science & Technology). Doctorate of Philosophy (2005) from Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai. He has Published/Presented more than 70 Research/Review papers in various National & International Journals. He is the member of Editorial board of reputed journals. He is recognized as an examiner and Research Supervisor for various reputed universities. Under his sophic guidance 34 students were awarded with M.Pharm, 5 students awardedPh.D and 3 students pursuing research work.
